A hot day in rural south Edmonton greeted our team who was at the ready for a full day of load in, set up, execution and tear down!  This was one of the tightest timelines for full service on the big day due to venue restrictions and we had carved out a thorough plan going into it all - afterall, that’s what we do!  We weren’t worried; we were excited for the challenge and to see it all happen!  Guests arrived and were directed to an outdoor pergola with ice water waiting.  Benches lined the stone aisle towards a hand crafted arch with floral arrangements designed and installed.  Under the large tree providing shade, sat a little table for singing of all the legal documents during the ceremony.  Accompanying the table was a delicate antique chair and lanterns from the brides grandparents.  It’s details like this that to the naked eye, are just decor, but to us and to our couples - special is an understatement.  Following a morning hot shave and beautifying in the on site bridal sweet, our couple was ready and eager to begin their day!  Starting off with a first look, without the look…. One of our favourite things to orchestrate on wedding day if our couples are up for it!  The giddiness and love between our bride and groom was abundantly clear as they held hands anxious to peek but holding back until it was time for their eyes to meet at the aisle! 

Following a sweet ceremony, we directed our couple to their reception space for a room reveal (also highly recommended and one of our fave moments on wedding day!!), accompanied by each of their signature cocktails premade and awaiting them at the bar.  These two newlyweds enjoyed a few minutes to themselves, sipping on their special beverages, grinning from ear to ear, dancing, loving and laughing together.  Truly, this was on of the sweetest moments!  Guests enjoyed cocktails and lawn games in the sunshine or under a large tent while socializing during the bridal party and family photos, eventually being invited into the large modern industrial space for the reception.  The tables were decorated with simplicity and the eucalyptus that moved throughout was refreshing!  Hanging above the dance floor was a greenery and ferry light installation that dangled downward for our guests to enjoy.  A large greenery wall held our couples newly shared last name and acted as a natural photo area for guests to enjoy!  Dancing, dining, laughing and tears of joy were shared minute after minute right to the last dance - our couple on the floor, just themselves.  All guests had left via prearranged buses and these two took the last couple minutes to soak up alone.  What a moment!  This day was full of them and we were so honored to help create those opportunities!
