Dustin & Meg

Cozy, Thoughtful, and Full of Heart

Meg and Dustin knew exactly how they envisioned their wedding—a warm, family-centered celebration filled with personal touches—but needed a trusted team to bring it all together. From arranging a stunning candlelit ceremony by a glowing fireplace to orchestrating a delicious Italian feast complete with a fry bar for late-night snacks, we ensured every detail was flawlessly executed. The result? A joy-filled November wedding with snowflakes, laughter, and love, where guests felt truly cherished. This is why we love what we do!

The Inquiry

The most organized, creative and capable people, still seek assistance in pulling off wedding day.  Who’s going to light the candles?  Who will place the signage in the correct spots?  Who is setting up the dessert display, room flip appropriate areas and items in one shared ceremony and reception space, and on and on and on?!  This was Meg and Dustin.  Knowing exactly what they wanted to plan, prepared to create every little detail, but needing someone on the ground running to bring it all together for them!  Hi!  That’s us!

The Package

Taking someone else’s puzzle they’ve been building through creating each specific piece and putting it all together to create the most beautiful vision of theirs, takes understanding.  Executing the overall function of an event that was meticulously put together by the couple and vendors, takes trust.  Your Love Story is a package that combines the forces of the planning couple with our executing team, and it always results in a success!  We don’t just “show up” weekend of - we come into the conversation many weeks in advance to help finesse what has been completed up to to that point and ensure no major element is missed in the weeks remaining.

The Result

Our early morning coffee delivery and check in with the bride and groom was accompanied by the most delicate November snow fall.  Something our couple had been hoping for as they eagerly worked on all of their wedding plans!  It was bound to be a great day!  The day before was spent at a local beautifully renovated hall, setting up the unique floorplan and decorations for what was intended to be a cozy family affair in celebration of love and marriage.  We arranged the tables in two long rows with family dining style in mind and both rows flanking what was going to be the aisle towards a warmly lit fireplace and mantle set up for our couple to wed in front of.  Guests were welcomed to the venue by a display of questions and answers, marriage advice version, that had been collected from their guests!  They were encouraged to grab a drink and find their seat amongst the crystal glass varying candle holders and long stretch of the most amazing smelling babies breath and carnation floral centrepiece runner.  At each setting, a personalized thank you note from our couple to that specific guest, for them to read and enjoy as they awaited for the celebration to begin.  If this doesn’t scream a cozy family affair, we don’t know what does!  Guests stood as our bride entered the space and the dimly lit, candle light room, was beaming with joy and tear filled eyes.  A classy sweetheart table doubled as the signing table during the ceremony and before we knew it we were dining on the most wonderful hot Italian pasta and porchetta dinner!  Every guest went for seconds and when you thought people were too full, the Italian bakery donuts and pastries were absolutely devoured shortly after.  The evening continued with an interactive phone message system acting as the guest book and a photo booth with large scale prop versions of the couple cat and pup.  The music was everything a party needed and the late night snack was hand delivered by a local fave restaurant - who supplied a fry bar!  Different types of fries and dips for people to enjoy and man did they ever!  It was a joy facilitating this wedding and all of the adorable details.  Guests were thrilled all night long and expressed multiple times the appreciation for helping Dustin & Meg get down the aisle and allowing their family and friends to have such a great time in the process.  Exactly why we do what we do.

Purple Flower

From the very beginning, I knew I could (and wanted to) handle the planning of our wedding, but I also knew I couldn't be the one to make everything come to life on the big day. That's where Megan and Save the Date truly came in and exceeded all expectations.

Megan was incredibly helpful with any and all questions we had throughout the process. She was always ready to lend a hand, and often offered support when it was clear we needed it but struggled to ask. Her expertise was absolutely crucial in the planning and execution of our day. On the wedding day itself, both the bride and groom were able to enjoy ourselves completely, stress-free, because we knew Megan had everything under control. She handled the details and logistics so seamlessly, and we were able to relax and be fully present in the moment.

I can't recommend Megan and Save the Date enough. Even if you're an organized, type-A, hands-on bride like me, Megan is the perfect person to hand over the reins to. She will help bring your vision to life while ensuring everything runs smoothly, so you can focus on enjoying your big day.

Thank you, Megan, for making our wedding day everything we dreamed of and more!
