Country Glam and a whole lot of fam
They had special plans for their wedding day. Ones that were fun, going to be memorable, and sentimental! Having multiple locations involved, always adds to the overall logistics concerns and with their day, this definitely was an element that caused some stress. However, it was possible with a lot of work and tons of communication beforehand and on site to make it all happen seamlessly! Our bride and groom, and all of their guests were able to thoroughly enjoy a day full of sunshine, loving energy, creative elements, and true celebration! Everyone was present for when the couple spoke their personal private vows on the family owned golf course, surrounded only by their immediate family and bridal party. All guests sat comfortably amongst the trees, ready to witness the long awaited traditional ceremony. A unique unity ceremony took place where our couple branded a cowhide rather than the typical two flames lighting one candle or two different colors of sand pouring into one jar. Grandpa said Grace before dinner, we auctioned off the first table to eat with all proceeds going to a great cause near and dear to our couples hearts. The brides bouquet was donated to her mom, a surprise gift was set up on display for our couple to see upon their venue arrival from the mother of the Groom. A delicious food truck and outdoor virtual golf closed out this summer night exactly how our couple had envisioned! All of this takes work but for me, it's never considered as such!
The Inquiry
Cassidy & Austin, were trying to plan something memorable, not only for themselves but their guests. Owning and running their own farm kept these two busy and amongst that they needed to coordinate a wedding day full of many moving parts. They reached out looking for boots on the ground support to make it all physically happen knowing a lot of ground coverage was needed and wanted to be able to have themselves and all of their guests completely enjoy with minimal to no work required by any of them!
The Package
Together we reviewed logistics upon logistics. Their concerns were communicated and my support was coming from a place of excitement with the mentality of “challenge accepted” being strong! Your Love Story is the package we agreed to proceed with, giving them the ability to focus on decorative elements and vendor bookings/communications primarily. 60 days out, we began meeting on a bi-weekly basis to specifically discuss all moving parts they had confirmed and envisioned. I worked to help them weed out short lists of items/tasks that had been overlooked and to think of executing things in a different way where needed in order to improve the overall guest experience. We reviewed specifically how I would be moving through their day to set up the ceremony location at one end of the property, their reception tent at the other and assisting all hired vendors upon their arrival to site to ensure they have everything needed to be successful in their commitments to my couple. Additionally, I generated a timeline that was distributed to all vendors for ease of reference and to ensure all moving parts are in unison as we worked towards the same end goal for our couple!
The Result
Rehearsal ran incredibly smooth, only increasing the overall anticipation! Upon wedding day, these two were all smiles - completely relaxed and enjoying the day! Following my direction, they neatly organized all of their DIY decor and had provided thorough and detailed instructions to me on how they wished for my team and I to set everything up. Vendors arrived on time and with clear understanding of how the entire day was going to flow as they followed the timeline I generated and distributed beforehand. Having everyone operate off of the same timeline truly helps create a dream team of vendors with each wedding or event. As I left site to go to the golf course and set up the first look as well as assist with executing the private vows, leaving behind a reception venue that had many vendor staff buzzing around, did not have me worried at all. My lead Assistant remained to provide any needed support to all of those hands and in turn everyone had exactly what they needed. Our couple and their family moved through the first special moment of their day with so much love, it was beautiful to watch. Returning to the main event grounds, we completed preparation of the traditional ceremony location as we awaited for all invited guests to arrive. I assisted in facilitating the movement of our bridal party around the property without being seen by guests and in doing, so I got to witness some of the most pure moments between friends, mothers, dad and almost newlyweds! Knowing that they were at complete comfort in what some feel is the most nerve-wracking day of their life, brought me such happiness. We finally sent them down the aisle, and I hid in a bush nearby ready to plug-in the branding tool for their unity ceremony, which ended up being a very powerful moment that I know guests are still talking about today. We welcomed all guests to the reception tent that was beautifully decorated with a mixture of venue provided decor and couple created items. While the important people of the day were busy getting ready and getting married, candles were being lit, signs were being placed, multipurpose decor was being shuffled around and much more. Dinner was delicious, speeches were amazing, the first dances had tears in people’s eyes, and the guests were overall buzzing the entire night! The stars were out, the bartending trailer was lined up, the music had everybody moving, and to top it off there was outdoor virtual golf that many enjoyed. When a food truck filled with hot dogs, burgers, fries, and poutine arrived, the happiness only grew! My team and I strategically collected all personally supplied decor in a way that did not make guests feel they were being pushed out, but allowed for the end of night cleanup to be quick and complete. Our couple simply had to return the next day and pick up their fully packed trailer. Talk about not lifting a finger! That's exactly what I strive for with all of my couples.

I honestly don’t even know where to start—Megan and the Save The Date team were unbelievable. Hiring her was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the first time we chatted, I felt completely at ease. Megan is warm, professional, calm, and just one of those people you instantly trust. And on the day of the wedding? She completely blew us away.
As a bride, I didn’t worry about one single thing. Not one. Megan handled everything—every little detail, every moving piece, every timeline and transition—so smoothly that we were just able to enjoy the day. I kept hearing people say, “You seem so relaxed!” and the reason was 100% Megan. She took all the stress off our shoulders and let us be fully present. That is such a gift.
She thought of things I never would have, stayed ten steps ahead the entire time, and made sure everything looked and felt exactly how we imagined. Actually, better. Every time I turned around, she was right there, checking in, making sure we were doing okay, and quietly solving any problem before it even reached us. I’ve never felt so taken care of.
But beyond all the organization and coordination (which she’s amazing at), Megan just truly cares. She was all in with us. She celebrated the day like someone who had known us for years. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does and puts her whole heart into it.
If you’re on the fence about hiring a coordinator—this is your sign. You will never regret bringing Megan on your team. She made our day feel completely effortless and full of magic, and I’ll never stop being grateful to her for that. We couldn’t have done it without her. Megan - Thank you thank you thank you!!!
